2025 in Denver, Colorado
We are excited about this NDM® certification training and its new format, which allows for two levels of certification and the addition of online learning. Within this training, you will learn techniques to change the lives of children and adults with any form or degree of neurological injury, gap, delay or deficit that are the roots of many of the most challenging diagnoses we are currently seeing.
We welcome into our training everyone who is devoted to implementing NeuroDevelopmental Movement® to optimize skills for brain impaired children and adults. Our requirements for participation include not only a basic passion for changing lives, but also the commitment to complete all course material, reading, and homework.
*To be considered for the course, we request a 30-minute interview with both of the instructors, Bette Lamont and Jessie Forston.
NeuroDevelopmental Movement® training is divided into the following two levels:
Foundations of NeuroDevelopmental Movement®
This level is designed for those who work in settings such as schools, tutoring and after school programs, child/infant care settings, and community centers, where children with a range of common challenges will benefit from an NDM® standardized intervention. You will receive a certificate for Foundations of NeuroDevelopmental Movement® that will have limitations, but also give you a broad practice range that will facilitate change in a large number of children.
*Note, this certificate can be used for common challenges, but not for involved diagnoses, which will be addressed in the advanced level of certification.
*This level is the prerequisite for the Advanced NDM® training.
While the Foundations of NeuroDevelopmental Movement® training will take place fully online, we invite and strongly encourage any able participants to join us in Denver January 16-20, 2025, and again in April 10-14, 2025. If present, you will have the opportunity to work hands-on with clients, deepening your experience and knowledge.
Advanced NeuroDevelopmental Movement® Training
The Advanced level gives you all the skills, rights, and privileges of a Certified NeuroDevelopmental Movement® Consultant. This includes the skills and qualifications to assess and create programs for children and adults with any brain impairment, including, but not limited to, spectrum disorders, developmental delays, attention disorders, traumatic brain injury, birth injury, adoption trauma, and stroke.
Participation in the Advanced level will require students to meet in Denver January of 2026, but are invited and encouraged to be hands-on/in-person at all our Denver sessions in July and October of 2025 and January and April of 2026. Specific dates to come.
*Note that Foundations of NeuroDevelopmental Movement® is the prerequisite for taking the Advanced level training. All students participating in the Advanced level training will be required to attend the in person session in Denver, in January of 2026.
The first step to becoming involved is to fill out the interest form linked below. We will then get back to you with further information and set up a time for an interview.
*Please note that in NeuroDevelopmental Movement® we do NOT treat diagnoses. A client who comes to us with ADHD does not differ from a client who comes to us with developmental delays in that we always go back to our testing tools to determine our course of action rather than to the presenting diagnosis. While a diagnosis may give us a general sense of symptoms, it is only when we test neurological soft signs that we can create a path to higher functioning using an NDM® program.
